The Interreg IPA CBC Programme “Greece – The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia 2014-2020” launched the 1st call for project proposals. This programme is a cross-border European Territorial Cooperation Programme co-financed by the European Union under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA II). The Programme’s overall strategy is the enhancement of territorial cohesion by improving living standards and employment opportunities holding respect to the environment and by using the natural resources for tourism.
The selected thematic priorities have been structured into two priorities axis, (excluding technical assistance) which reflect the needs and challenges of the Programme area:

PA 1: Development and Support of Local Economy 

PA 2: Protection of Environment – Transportation
