CRCD founder Dr. Marina Andeva moderated one workshop session in which the Latvian perspective on opportunities for minority participation and empowerment was discussed by the participants. The session is part of a seminar and a youth workshop on 1 July in Daugavpils, Latvia.
With the generous support of the German Federal Foreign Office, the German Embassy in Riga, and the Latvian Ministry of Culture, the European Centre for Minority Issues – ECMI will organise this seminar on Friday, 1st July, in Daugavpils, Latvia. The seminar aims to raise awareness among minority representatives of the various ways in which participation is possible and start a discussion about Latvia-specific approaches. The seminar is open to all individuals interested in discussing minority political participation. The Lecture and introduction to the discussion will be held in English and interpretations into Latvian and Russian will be available for the participants.
